Andrea Albert Pierre Casiraghi (born 8 June 1984) is the first of three children born to Caroline, Princess of Hanover, and her second husband, Stefano Casiraghi, an heir to an Italian oil fortune. His maternal grandparents were Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and Princess Grace. He is currently second-in-line to the Monegasque throne after his mother, meaning that if the currently reigning Prince Albert II dies without legitimate children, then Casiraghi is likely to adopt the surname Grimaldi and someday become the Prince of Monaco.

Born on 8 June 1984 at 22:40 at The Princess Grace Hospital Centre in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Casiraghi was named after a childhood friend of his father's. His godparents are his aunt Princess Stéphanie and his uncle Marco Casiraghi.
Andrea was six years old when his father died in a boating accident.
He has two younger siblings, Charlotte and Pierre, and a younger half-sister, Princess Alexandra of Hanover.
Growing up mostly in France, he studied for the International Baccalaureate exam at the International School of Paris; he took the exam in the summer of 2002. Besides French, he is fluent in several languages, including English and his father's native Italian. Following a period at Canada's McGill University, he eventually graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual arts and international politics from the American University of Paris.[1] From 2007-2009 Andrea studied at The New School in NY, receiving his masters degree in International Affairs. He then did an internship at the Qatari Embassy to France. This was the International Field Work he did for the New School’s Graduate Program International Affairs. He is currently taking his masters degree at University of Barcelona until 2012.
He was included by People Magazine in 1999 in the Top 50 World's Most Beautiful People. In 2003, he was part of a feature in Town & Country magazine about young royals.[2]
In 2008 he was included as 10th on the list of the "20 Hottest Young Royals" as compiled by Forbes.[3] He is regularly tracked by the tabloids, via the paparazzi, going about his private business, at work and at play.
Since 2005, he has been recognized as the boyfriend of the US-born Brazilian and Colombian socialite and heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo.
Since 2004, Casiraghi has been involved in degrees with "AMADE Mondiale," of which his mother is President. Casiraghi told Vanity Fair he spent eight months teaching children in Senegal, Togo, and Niger.[4] In August 2006, he took his involvement deeper and paid a very serious visit to Manila on behalf of a joint venture of AMADE and the Virlanie Foundation.Press Coverage from Andrea Casiraghi's Filipino tour, Since 2007, Casiraghi has been living and doing graduate studies in New York City, according to Prince Albert II.
